Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is an American fashion designer, actress and model. When she began her career as a model, she moved into acting, after starring as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's drama Nowhere. She made the transition to major roles with her performances as a character in American Beauty for which she was nominated for a BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered the attention of film critics. In 2000, she was as a co-star with American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played her role as the main character on the film Sugar & Spice (2002). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the independent drama as well as the thriller of 2004. In addition, she was a part of the HBO series Six Feet Under. The season aired in 2004. In 2008, she part of several films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
