Gunn's performance in AMC's Drama Breaking as Skyler white is among her roles that are the most well-known. In 2013 and 2014, she received her the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Female Performer in Drama Series. In August of 2013, she published an opinion piece in The New York Times examining the negative comments made by people about her role as a character.
