Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who was raised within Orange County, moved there at the age five. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 2015. After appearing in a couple of episodes on NCIS and Leverage Pernas was offered the role as Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap-opera her actress was cast in a job as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model who speaks four languages has since appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she was Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas was dating her ex- The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. The actress from This Is Us Pernas began dating Justin Hartley following her breakup with Chrishell Stase, whom she was engaged to in November of this year. In May 2021, news surfaced that Pernas Hartley has recently tied the knot in private.
