Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for over 20 years. She took home American Idol during the first season. This win catapulted Clarkson into the spotlight and secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. She has since released numerous studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. She's one of the biggest performers to emerge of American Idol. She began to experiment with themes and music when her popularity grew. Her work was praised by critics and a number of high-profile awards for her uniqueness and vocal talent. She was awarded an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. She also has been featured in television and films. She also wrote her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
