When she was 19 at the time, she dropped Here, her first single. It quickly became a hit that both critics and the fans were awed by the song. The song peaked at number 19 on both the Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the most memorable songs of the year. The same year when she debuted Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful, one of her five original songs included on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 for Canada, and Billboard 200 for Canadian Albums Charts.
