Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother comes from Spanish and English heritage. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy explained the relocation was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to take her. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. Then she dropped out of high school at 16 to focus on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
